Created in memory of Georges Braque, as a figurative and poetic tribute of respect and admiration. Miro combines the abstract form of a bird with handwritten text that pays homage to Braque's friendship, honesty, and artistic spirit. Graphics and calligraphy merge into a single rhythmic gesture, transforming the image into a visual poem.
Printed at the Mourlot Frères workshop in 1956.
The work is included in the catalogue raisonné: Cramer, 44.
